- Our Mission
WHAT WE OFFER
Services built around your loved one
Every care plan we develop is as individual as the person it serves. We begin with a thorough in-home assessment, then we listen.
Personal Care
We provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including help with bathing, grooming, dressing, hair care, and continence care.
Safe&Well Checks
Remote and in-person support for family members who are out-of-town, overwhelmed, or simply unable to reach a loved one. Provides family peace of mind without a formal care commitment.
Respite Care
We provide competent non-medical care that offers a physical, mental, and emotional break for the primary caregiver, whether for a block of time or for the day.
IADLs & Mobility Support
Assistance with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), including light meal preparation, medication reminders, transferring in and out of a wheelchair, and fall prevention support.
Transitional Bridge Care
A structured period of care that stabilizes clients who are transitioning from a hospitalization to home, but are not yet ready for a long-term care commitment.
Dementia & Memory Care
Support for clients who are experiencing memory, cognitive, or behavioral issues as a result of brain injury or neurodegenerative decline.
Homemaker Services
Light housekeeping that includes tidying up rooms, cleaning surfaces and areas used during caregiving to maintain hygiene.
Companionship
We help your loved one feel more connected and less alone with companionship, conversation, engagement in hobbies, and cognitive stimulation activities.
Healthcare Notary
Remote online notarial services for clients who are hospitalized, bed-bound, or experiencing other mobility limitations.
WHY ALARIA
This is what care is supposed to feel like
Alaria was founded by a neuroscientist and mental health professional who witnessed first hand the gap between the care our elders deserve and the care they often receive.

Our founder brings over a decade of biomedical research, an MS in Neuroscience, and six years of crisis and trauma counseling experience to every care plan we develop. That background doesn't just inform how we care -- it changes what we notice, how we respond, and what we ask for on behalf of the people we serve.
